About Me
Milagros, a bilingual writer and translator, enjoys straddling her home cities of Tijuana, Mexico & San Diego, California. Daughter of a Spanish Civil War refugee, born in the US, she has worked as a Child & Family Counselor, Creative Advertising Director and Instructional Designer with major IT & medical firms. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing at SDSU and is a peer reviewer for Poetry International. She has three recently completed chapbooks, Grendel in the Lake, The Nature of Unfinishidness, and Leaves Barely Showing. Her digital poem, “Border Waters” will be exhibited in ICIDS 2024 (International Conference on Interactive Digital Storytelling) in Barranquilla, Columbia.
